#GenHour I will leave it to others who are more familiar with the enviromental costs to talk about how damaging it is to waste all these resources on software that essentially does nothing worthwhile for us.

I agree completely Jan. Genealogy is full of arrows pointing in the wrong direction. So much of our work is figuring out what is true and real to the best of our ability. The last thing any of us need is a tool that is wrong more often than it's right and which also causes environmental harm!
