I'd argue that Elden Ring is also a hell of a lot more popular than DBZ, even amongst people who don't watch/play either, so that probably doesn't help

Also think might be becuase the arc they were in was not as big as the frieiza or cell arcs Especially with cable kinda being obsolete around the time of the arc
