Also at Marazion last week, several Curlew Sandpipers making the most of a good feeding area for many waders near the sea wall. #ukbirding
Finally caught up with the Sabine’s Gull at Huntspill this afternoon. Must be the last Somerset folk to see it but wow, I guess it showed really well .. 😀 #ukbirding
Spent our last morning in Cornwall yesterday at Marazion watching and observing so many waders feed at high tide. Our best ever views of both Curlew Sandpipers (6 of them) and a Little Stint. As final farewell to a fantastic week the R B Shrike also made an appearance 😀 #ukbirding
A wonderful scenic walk to Soapy Cove where the Woodchat Shrike (photos) took us at least a couple of hours to see but eventually showed well. The Red B Shrike at Marazion showed for a couple of minutes, alas no photos so may have to return. A 2 Shrike day though! #ukbirding
