A huge part of that charm were mature, shady trees. The wider pathways aren’t as nice to look at and quite hot on a Summer’s day, but give it a few years to grow in, and it will be fine. That said, I remember people saying the same about Midway America, and its landscaping has improved over time.
I don’t mind the changes to the park’s entrance, more coasters, and more Hershey product branding in the park. That stuff feels like a proper evolution of the park to me. What I do miss is the focus on live entertainment. And better ride operations.
Some conflicting info from the press release, coaster length may actually be 1,300 feet long - as listed on the web site. Ocean Quest Express is the train ride, and will have additional themeing for an "I Spy" game for riders on board.
I had to walk someone through disabling Stolen Device Protection- basically installing an MDM or making system changes in a “new” location results in a wait time. Of course this person was a new hire - the phone didn’t know she was in her new job.
Yeah this is what we do. I opted out. We can wipe our info out of your device at any time and have always-on location tracking. But you wouldn’t believe how many people just install it without a second thought.
Wallpaper was a starting point, and the subscription was a Trojan horse for stuff in the future, like exclusive video content and promo deals. Missed the step of being “this free, cool app” before they wanted to charge a subscription, pivot to video, or pile on the ads.
