BattleTech fans, how do you feel about Land-Air 'Mechs?

Love lams there a really cool concept and have awesome designs! Here's the two Waneta's I have

I like them a lot! And ngl, the urbie ones are ridiculous and awesome, I had to pick up a box Sunday at Origins.

I have a player that's taken up LAMs in my AToW campaign, completely changed my views of them for the better. Crazy mo-fo actually jet down some narrow roads in some jungle forests I had in the map, the beautiful maniac. Wrecked havoc on the back lines I had for the OpFor.

Specialized but make the setting interesting and shows it's roots.

As a Macross/Robotech fan, I find it to be goofy that FASA got a license for the designs in the first place (especially since that license was iffy - TCI had a secondhand license, HG had a first-hand license). Coming across BT in like, 1990, I was totally baffled at seeing Tomahawk on the box cover.

Fun winged goobers that are a great addition to to the lore

Honestly, I want to drop 80 bucks on these, they're just iconic I could 3d print them all day long but nothing holds up to that old scrungly metal fig look
