Google seems bent on taking what once was the best search tool and high quality content delivery system and turning it into a thing that only shows you ads, shit you can buy right now, and AI generated noise. Way to go Google!

I guess they found a quicker way to delete the news than bankrupting media companies.

I have literally never once clicked on that tab. Assumed it was curated bullshit.

Google has been moderating news links forever.

This is mostly what I use Google search for. It's the one area where substitutes like DuckDuckGo lag too far behind to be useful.
