I loved this group of picture books including Tate's Wild Rescue by @jennytwrites.bsky.social. Kids love books about animals, especially dogs, and this group is perfect for a classroom or library! I included teaching ideas.

Picture books with dogs, dogs, dogs

He will live his best life with us until the end. He gets raw food, chemo meds, soft beds, and lots of cuddles. He runs the house & the other dogs (all larger than he is) let him be, although we have to guard their food so he doesn't grab it. Fostering saves lives, and helps dogs like this one.

This is Sebastian, my hospice foster dog. This 9-pound senior was found as a stray in Oklahoma. Turns out he has Addison's disease; he's on meds for that. When he arrived he was shaky & seemed very fragile. Now he follows us everywhere, loves to eat, and jumps up on our legs for attention. 1/

Let me know if it tastes different than the red ones. That will be the test. Should be less acidic.

Now I'm going to have nightmares about shrews. I know they are out there in my yard...storing the paralyzed prey for later. UGH.

It's gotta be from different plant. Maybe the branch dropped into the red tomato plant? I have both colors and my yellow tomatoes look just like that one!! Too bland for me, but my husband loves them!

Thank you! I'm going to use it for the book club I lead with senior citizens. I think they'll love it just as much as I did.
