theoretically, what would be the minimum specs I'd be looking for if I wanted to buy a laptop (because pcs scare me) I'd want to be able to run games (metaphor refantazio, valorant, etc) while having obs and vtube studio on, maybe even music? my current laptop overheats with just two of these

Do you have a cooling pad that you put under your laptop while you use it? Because that helps quite a bit alongside with ventilating the bottom of your laptop

The most important spec is graphics card, when making a choice between good graphics card and any other spec I would lean graphics in most cases.

most laptops have the power to pull what you want off but cooling is a massive issue with them. pcs arent that scary once you realize that they're big legos

i dunno for AMD chips since naming schemes harder, but intel i5, gpu, 4070 or equiv u can prolly get by with a desktop 3070 but laptops gpu use less power so less performance ram: 32gb, 16gb cOULD work but that’s like base baseline, 32gb will be much more comfy storage: 1tb minimum, 2tb ideal

I would highly suggest my own laptop. It’s a bravo 17. It’s a chonky one but if it can render stuff pretty quickly in Maya and sculpt in Zbrush then it can do anything! Definitely speaking from personal experience considering I have Vnyan, obs and a game open and it does pretty well the whole time

I got mine from nova custom. They’re pretty cheap and have open source firmware, worth checking out.
