A pearlfish could choose to live anywhere. It's not like there's landlords and credit checks in the ocean. And it chooses the inside of a sea cucumber's butt?? This feels spiritually similar to going to a Chinese buffet and eating the pizza. It was an option, but... Really?

I realize in that last metaphor I put pizza and buttholes in the same category. I feel like I should retract it, but also I am from the generation that famously loves eating both.

Yeah but they have a never ending supply of food in the form of the sea cucumber gonads, which the sea cucumber can grow back. As I always say, it's free, safe and there's unlimited food - I'm tempted to move in myself.
