I live in London, I walk everywhere, and use public transport all the time. Maybe every three weeks I drive my indecent privilege of a quite expensive private car to the supermarket to bulk buy. I am of an age when owning a car was important, but it is not necessary in London.

My lad is at uni in London and I've been going there for decades too. Why anyone drives there when the public transport and cycling system is so good is beyond me. Especially with everything just tap and go and capped.
