Anyone seen The Substance? thoughts? Is it really as extreme and over the top with body horror as some reviews suggest?
I ended my 30 plus year wait for a sequel and went along to BEETLEJUICE, BEETLEJUICE - I sigh a relief and can say I genuinely really enjoyed it, laughed a bunch of times all the way. Great acting from Keaton, Ryder and the others, fantastic set pieces and kooky surprises. I highly recommend it.

Good call. It seems to come down to Russell and co wanting to create an entertaining feature around the myth of the famous tale creation and including a number of familiar known faces connected despite the accuracy. It has some moments and flair.
