Always glad about smart snake stories. I live on a rural property and have more snakes than you can shake a stick at. I really don't understand the shrieking paranoia about snakes . I've got everything from Eastern Browns to Brown tree snakes. Just leave them alone and voilà they move on!

Oh I had, and in many ways still do have, quite a phobia about snakes. When I was a young child my mother shrieked “DON’T GO PAST THAT FENCE THERE ARE SNAKES!” quite a lot but I’m sure that has nothing to do with it. :) Decades later I’m kind of OK with them now.
