If someone says they saw SALTBURN you *know* I’m bringing up the SUPERBAD release date goof (It didn’t even come out in US theaters until August 2007, yet the Saltburns are watching it at home earlier that summer? Fred Willard in A MIGHTY WIND voice I don’t think so!)
The script supervisor was all like, "I can't do my work!"
Chicks dig this kind of info
Weirdly I just watched a Sundance movie (DIDI) which also has characters watching Superbad on DVD, but it takes place one year after Saltburn. I did spend like half the movie googling to find out if people were still using AOL Instant Messenger, Myspace, AND Facebook all that same year.
this is why i only watch movies set in the future
I want to make a movie so bad with these types of errors intentionally baked in to trigger online discourse
Instantly disqualifying
They're rich people who got a special early release
sounds like we got a real red wagon on our hands
An unserious film
