Spent a year working on setting up an international workshop, tens of thousands of dollars in grants, innumerable hours planning and organizing, and the LAPD has co-opted a floor of our building and kicked us out of our room to have a strategic view of UCLA protesters. 🙃

Several of us spent our afternoon trying to secure a new venue that wouldn’t cost us a surprise 3k. Thankfully managed something, but seriously wtf.
