Soon the room began to fill up, and a nice lady popped the Sondheim cherry by requesting "By the Sea" from Sweeney Todd. More friends soon arrived & made it amazing. And we had a number of singers who wowed us with their talents. Sadly, Bryon was not feeling well so stayed home - but is on the mend!

In the final stretch before the election, our most glaring vulnerability on the Democratic side is a deep lack of funding for independently-run, locally-based voter mobilization efforts. We can solve ...
Which is why Billy Wimsatt's post here spoke to me. Kamala Harris has raised a TON of money already, but the Democratic ground game to reach voters is starving. Why? Because donors didn't give for much of 2023 and 2024, and now these grassroots organizations have a major fundraising gap.

They also want more border security, but by & large they are liberal without knowing it.
(2) Swing voters have already made up their mind about Trump, and they don't like him. They agree he is more "radical" and believe Harris is more "moderate." But they have less formed opinions about Harris, so both sides must rush to define her.
