Isn’t it funny that those who bemoan “identity politics” and compensations for historical wrongs because “that’s all in the past” are the same ones that like to pretend that the political ideologies of parties in the present are explained by their past history or names?

One of those people was my adjunct instructor for a required statistics course I took many years ago. He was always careful to voice his political opinions outside of class time.
