And if your cat has access to the outdoors, keep it away from daylilies or asiatic lilies! It seems like every yard has daylilies these days and they are equally as toxic as Easter lilies.

Daylilies are safe for dogs, and are one of the key ingredients of hot and sour soup, but are toxic for cats. Peonies are also not pet-safe, but are still edible for humans (after steeping in boiling water or simple syrup)
