I think this is right. Vance can't deliver the visceral aspect.

No one can. All the pretenders have failed, which means the GOP is going to struggle to keep a large swath of their voters in the very near future. They will just go back to being non voters
A guy saying "Women are eager to go back to work" after delivering a baby is not fixable at a root level.
It’s also the scary part: Fascism re-packaged for the masses to be shiny, colorful and consumer friendly (with the contents label removed).
