when peoples only ability to process media is as a set of tropes and they engage with the tropes instead of the what the media is saying it's so infuriating tbh. "she didn't deserve a redemtion arc", dude if you think that was a redemption arc you are not paying attention

... please tell me you're kidding. Was she tragic? Ridiculously so, even for a SE game. But she wasn't a "redeemable character", in the slightest. That wasn't her role in the story. I mourn the death of media literacy. ._.
