I think the theory is probably that crypto bros tend to be low info voters who could maybe be swayed to vote for you if you act like you like their little hobby? Don’t think you’ll lose votes over it and it’s a close enough election that sure yeah might as well try I guess.

He did also talk some shit about Vance but like at this point I would’ve thought trump would be sympathetic to that impulse

McCarthy giving HFC the rules committee was a really incredibly short sighted self interest over actual leadership move that has predictably turned out disastrously

My hometown did this, just moved the outside paint strip in a foot. Kind of offensive how good a policy it is. Cheap and effective. People drive slower and pedestrians and bikes get an actual shoulder

SAVE did pass with dem votes when they brought it up earlier in the year, I think they’re pretty happy to have a CR get shot down by dems over SAVE before passing a clean one, I don’t think they view that as a failure. Still can’t pretend I get the long CR part tho

SAVE makes some amount of sense as a show vote, I guess. Long CR is strange though.
