mizumafu collection 5 sgdlr au

This was an au I made around November of 2023. I had a link click brainrot after watching season 2 and I had to make it mizumafu… what if you had to go back in time over and over to save your dearest friend? Mizuki and Mafuyu are in their twenties in this AU, since they are working a job just like the Link Click characters. Mafuyu takes the role of Lu Guang, with the power to see within photos. (Mafuyu any pronouns in this au btw, I will refer to Mafuyu with he/him though) Mafuyu wears glasses, with one of the frames a teardrop. His outfit is similar to Mafuyu’s canon casual outfit, but it is also reminiscent of Lu Guang’s outfit. Mizuki Akiyama takes the role of Cheng XiaoShi, with the power to go physically inside photos and control a person inside it for 12 hours. Mizuki’s outfit is based off of Chengxiaoshi. Mizuki wears a transgender colorblock varsity jacket. She wears short jeans. There is a heart on Mizuki’s jacket, with the Chinese character meaning “heart”. Mizuki and Mafuyu also take in character traits from the roles they are based off of, but they still have their own unique personalities. In the short comic, Mizuki asks Mafuyu if he has found any clues in the photo. In the context of Link Click, they are detectives finding truths and solving mysteries by going back in time within photos. Mafuyu says he hasn’t found any clues. Mizuki is bummed, saying that these photos aren’t any good either… Mafuyu replies, “Don’t think it’s just easy.” In other words, this job isn’t light work.
This is doodles of the nightcord sgdlr au. The top doodles are Nightcord in high school. They all attended kamiyama high, and this is before mizumafu obtained their time travel powers. Nightcord was a close-knitted friend group, and mizuena teased eachother a lot. The bottom doodles feature the current nightcord working in their link click. (Kanade is a part of the crew, but she only occasionally stops by the workplace) Mizuki and Mafuyu live together in the workplace and Ena is the landlord. Ena takes the role of Qiaoling from Link Click, and she helps Mizumafu to sustain their bills. Ena usually finds clients for Mizumafu’s work, giving them lots of photos. “You’ve got another client. Here are the photos!” Mizumafu can easily get overwhelmed by the job. On the bottom right, mizumafu makes a heart pose with Ena in the middle, based off the official Link Click art by INPLICK. This was drawn around November of 2023.
In the sgdlr au, mizumafu live together, so they also share a bathroom. They have two sinks, one side is Mizuki’s and the other is Mafuyu’s. Mizuki’s side has a lot of skincare and makeup products, along with cute accessories and such. Mafuyu’s side has the bare minimum required. In the comic, Mizuki and Mafuyu are getting ready for work in the morning. Mafuyu is wearing a black T-shirt while Mizuki is in her bathrobes, also wearing a cute headband for face washing. and Mafuyu watches Mizuki open a new container of cream. “You bought a new cream,” Mafuyu points out. Mizuki confirms it. “That’s right! I got it yesterday. I’ve heard it’s good, and I wanted to try something new!” Mizuki recommends Mafuyu to try the new cream as well, but Mafuyu says he already has his own. “C’mon Mafuyu, just once won’t hurt!” Mizuki puts on the cream for Mafuyu anyways.
This is part two of the face cream comic. Mizuki and Mafuyu become gorgeous and have shining faces after using the new cream. They show up to work all sparkling. Ena is not very amused. “What.”
