Why do you go by your handle? Persian Slipper is a Sherlock Holmes reference I picked as a Tumblr name because I was into BBC Sherlock. To not confuse anyone, I kept it thru migration to Twitter and now to BSky. My preferred handle, Luthe, is just nonsense syllables I thought sounded good.

Why do you go by your handle? Because when I was 16 and signing up for my LiveJournal I had a crush on @rahaeli.bsky.social, and I’d recently called my sartorial style NQAH (Not Quite A Hippie) and needed a handle. And then LJ is the platform that stuck for years, and it simply became my name.
