Seems to be. For here at least. For now, I'm gonna hold out hope Threads figures their shit out and I don't have to move here full time. But I am fine with establishing this account as a viable fallback. Socials are just for me to vent anyway, even if it's just into the void.

No. That was legitimately chuckle-worthy. Glad we have this bulwark as a fallback, just in case. It might be a little more threadbare (ha!), but it feels less... threatening? At least for now. And there are lists! Honest to God, LISTS!

So Threads appears to be actively trying to push political dissent off of their platform, leading a lot of people to create bulkheads here on BlueSky. I plan on posting to both places for a while and seeing which works better, but I'm curious to hear what your experience has been here on BlueSky.

I figure it's worth establishing a bulkhead here, just in case. Seems to be the next social network up if Meta and Threads keep fucking good people over.
