No question it was and for a few different reasons. However, the appallingly poor performance from BR is a mitigating factor. Jensen Weir is like an added attacking player when we have the ball and an extra defender when we haven’t. I hope he’s going to be a significant signing l.

I think the defence will improve from where we’re at now. Our ability to score goals however, wasn’t great last season and since then we’ve lost Wyke, Magennes, Humps, Lang and Jones and brought in inexperienced kids. I’m really hoping that I’m wrong but that does not seem to be an improvement.

It would be nice to think we might sell one academy player a year (assuming that we keep producing them) but two in the space of a week is a bit much
