we're also worried about the high holiday cycle surrounding it! 10/7 falls right between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, plus on the Hebrew calendar it was Simchat Torah. There are lots of not-fun options!
Speaking of calendars, apparently Oct 7 2023 was the 21st day of Rabi al-Awwal, which will fall on Sept 24 this year.
