Warming is one of the catastrophic effects of climate change, but interwoven with that is that weather patterns will shift and become more intense and unpredictable. Almost impossible to exaggerate the degree to which we build *everything* on top of established patterns.
Yep. To the extent that that means we built highways and subdivisions in what are now flood zones this is merely very bad. If the ground shifts under agriculture faster than we can adjust, it's catastrophic, extinction level stuff.
The part Republicans refused to hear and mocked when “Global Warming” was the parlance of the day.
