This Bernie Mireault stuff is hitting me hard because I know so many great cartoonists who deserve success, but can't find their niche in our current system. They should be celebrated, not picking up extra shifts at Golden Corral. We have to keep weirdness alive in comics or it will abandon us.

There's so many artists that are underexposed simply because they don't jive with Big Two house styles.
