All Oklahoma schools are now “required to incorporate the Bible as an instructional support into the curriculum across specified grade levels,” the state superintendent announced
OKLAHOMA CITY – In a memorandum to Oklahoma school superintendents, State Superintendent Ryan Walters announced the implementation of foundational texts in curriculum.
But...but...I thought the Sermon On The Mount was too "woke" for them.
I guess tackling actual problems with the education system…you know, what they are paid to do…would be asking too much for those people in charge to do.
Goes without saying that I'm sure quite a lot of people in Oklahoma who are not members of the Christian cult, who have children in school.
The United States is not a civilized country.
I would so use that to my advantage to be evil. I'd go around telling students they where going to hell, show them the quotes in the bible that said they where going to hell, then when parents complain, tell them I'm using it as instructional support, and when fired, sue for unlawful termination.
“Hey, the Bible says we should take care of people.” “Not that Bible. We mean the one that talks about how white American evangelicals are superior.”
Unfuckingbelievable
So use a Bible to study a Wobbly table leg. Use it to boost a child higher in their seat
How come education is so much better for the godless heathens in New England than in Oklahoma or Louisiana or wherever if it’s all about pushing the 10 Commandments or the Bible on students? Unless it’s *gasp* not really about education????
