Umm... I assume he's going to jail!?

I'm willing to believe that the school doesn't have much authority to genuinely punish appropriately. And I'm willing to believe that they're unable to say much in the middle of an investigation. But I damn well hope the school is held accountable for its role. And I hope they're fonts of info.

Technically, the student is an adult and I wanna know why his pictures aren’t plastered everywhere. Every new story should just be his photo the entire time.

The details are unclear, but it seems this could be hazing. If true, then it can't just be the one guy with the box cutter perpetuating the hate crime.

I was really confused for a sec there reading a statement I thought was the perp's parents what with the "they dismissed him in less than 48h" and all the apologizing, but were in fact the victim's parents. Like,wtf?? I don't understand these reactions. And the VP(?) characterizing it as a scratch??
