As someone with ADHD and who spends all day reading the most mind-numbing military bullshit, an audiobook is a nice break for my brain and my eyeballs. If not for audible, I'd never consume that book content for fun. Also, accessibility? Do blind people only read when they read braille??

I’m glad you have access to books and that audio books are helpful for you. They are a great way to access and consume information. Listening and reading are different activities. I applaud anyone who uses their time to listen to audio books.
