It's to keep subscriptions for longer and extend the activity on social media. Doesn't make sense if you're constantly subscribed to eg Netflix but plenty of people hop on and off of streaming services to watch a single show. I hate it too btw

Komplete Kontrol is garbage. I bought a small M32 controller just to try out KK and NKS but the whole experience was quite disappointing. Ended up selling it. Who knows, maybe it works better with their expensive controllers...
