Very nice + beautiful and concise description of the differences between PCA, ICA, and SEM. However, I am still sceptical of the idea of having more latent than observed variables. Seems a bit like pulling yourself up from your bootstraps :)

That might be the issue: I try to save from the redirect link from the newsletter that I receive via email. If I take out all of the ?utm_campaign=ntwh&utm_medium=email&utm_source=ntwg22 bullshit, then it works. THANKS!

A reality check. Something I believe to be great might actually be average, something I think it's only marginal might be quite important. Maybe an engaged seminar with very knowledgeable people might give the same. But usually I get more honest feedback and guidance from editors and ref reports.
