I'm biased bc I've personally painted several pieces of furniture 😅 but I understand that some have such nice wood grain patterns that you shouldn't cover, etc It's the weird "thank you for not painting it" comments that I just find so odd. Why do you care that much, random lady?!?

Yeah that's a tad in your business. I think I get slightly radicalised by mid century collectibles being painted in grey, which can be perfectly acceptable for french provincial furniture.
