Pre nerf RB especially was such a powerhouse that if your comp enabled it and the person playing it was good then it was such a problem you could force upon basically any comp you were fighting. Without that level of power you can't really run other midline AoEs the same way as that

True. I guess my thought process is that there's just so much turtling now that's hard to mess with so stuff like squeezer and RB that basically thrive off just getting a bunch of kills with the main gun kinda suffer and having a kit that puts in work when you're getting stalled is nice
