so if you're using social media for marketing, you probs want a broader, larger audience than bluesky's but i'm kind of loving its current vibe where it's just creators everywhere. bluesky may or may not take off, but i don't think it's so bad to have a place for creators to connect

X for marketing, and Bluesky for networking and chilling. At this point X is too toxic and broad that networking can be pretty difficult over there, especially with all the bots. The smaller crowd here is amazing for actually building friendships and interacting with other creators.

Absolutely, I feel..a lot more safe putting myself out HERE than I did on Twitter, and I dont mind growing slower for that feeling of comfort and enjoyment and genuine laughs ill get with folks here.

Oh 100%. I mostly follow artists for art so it's nice to have content purely from my "tribe" rather than pop culture and political posts pushing itself into my feed.

I've had more interactions here in days than I've had in years on hell site I'm not sure how this works for bigger brands though, from a gaming perspective it drives me crazy that shitter and reddit get updates faster than their own websites

Even if it doesn't take off, I feel like I can interact more directly with great artists. It somehow wasn't as possible back in the other dumb site. Connections made here may outlast anything else!

I honestly hope it doesn't, cus if it does, it'll eventually become just another twitter, there's nothing wrong with a small site with tight-knit communities
