She had a brother, Max Erich Weisner, born in 1921, who somehow survived. He died in 1985.

Hungary and Slovakia: hardly surprising. France's attendance is disappointing though.

03.05.1943 | "So, tomorrow at 7 o’ clock, I’ll be leaving with the ghost train." Leo Salomon wrote a heartbreaking letter to his sons in Maastricht after he discovered he was to be deported the next day. Leo was murdered in #Sobibor on May 7, 1943.

Her father Hector David. her mother Irène, and her brother Gérard Nathan were deported along with her. All perished. Hector David was shot on 5 April 1944 for asking a little water for himself and other forced laborers. www.findagrave.com/memorial/118...

Irène Levy holding Michèle in her arms. Her son Gérard Nathan is standing beside her. Photo probably taken on a Paris street.
Photo showing David Hector Lévy in a military uniform. He served in the French army during World War I. The text in Spanish (he was born in the town of San Luis de Cañete, Peru) describes his fate.

In the same transport: her father Bedřich and her stepmother Irena (her mother Hedwig had died in 1934). Her brother Hanuš was deported in September 1943. All perished. www.geni.com/people/Mark%...
