I’m constantly googling “android phone settings” or whatever and getting instructions that just don’t work because Samsung or Verizon or someone just installed their own special version of the app.

Like your cellphone manufacturer and your cell service provider both get to make random changes to how the phone works which as far as I can tell means there is no ground truth on how any of these phones work?

Both my 77 year-old parents have android phones which means I’m constantly being asked to figure out what’s happening with their phones and as far as I can tell the android infrastructure is a fucking hellscape.

So now my package is in a shrodinger-esque state where it is both held and out for delivery at the same time

I asked for my package to be held at a local business and as far as I can tell, they dropped it off there on Thursday, but then *picked it back up* on Friday and have been trying to redeliver it back to the business but they don’t accept fedex deliveries on the weekend?

FedEx has managed to screw up my package delivery so bad that *they* called *me* and were like “uhhhh do you know that’s going on with this? Because we’re confused”
