I definitely think this is a good way to sum up the story of the Steel Wool Games. Though I do feel the supernatural still doe splay a role in these Games, even if it's not the main focus anymore.

Maybe after SB, Map Bot eventually shut down, and so Jeremy continued to exist as a spirit. And then, after HW2, Jeremy would awaken as Map Bot (now Mask Bot) one again. Being forced to trade away his child by the Mimic. The claw machine likely symbolizing the Mimic's program.

We then see the spirit of Jeremy become Mask Bot/Map Bot, who appears jus to give Gregory the same map 3 to 4 times. While it could have just been a joke, what if it was also foreshadowing there being something about Map Bot. Like, maybe he's a character we already knew. (+)

And in HW2, Bonnie Bully Jeremy is heavily eluded toward being a digitized ghost haunting the Pizza Place. Jeremy's hands in the real world are still VR Avatar hands. Mystic Hippo even asks him if he ever "really" looks at his hands. (+)

Not to mention the Glamrock Endos' thematic association with Nightmare, like the Staff Bots. And the fact that the Staff Bots recreate GGGL, which is about souls being given new life within new animatronic vessels. (+)

It's heavily implied that after the all staff meeting massacre (likely caused by Glam Endos), that the human staff were stuffed into, and thus, would possess Staff Bots. Hence, why they would be all over the Endo Nursery, where Endos are trained to be violent by someone. (+)

I agree! This is by far one of the best ways of explaining the idea of of the story of Glamrock Freddy and Glitchtrap. I just have a couple quick small points. I don't think the SteelWool games are exactly not using ghosts. (+)

The fact that the Old Man is the one who gives Jeremy Glitchtrap's code also makes sense, since Glitchtrap came from the Mimic.

It's worth noting that the version of Eclipse of RUIN is the result of Sun (who was on Safe Mode, which seems connected to Dreadbear) and Moon, who was controlled by Glitchtrap, merging back into one. Not to mention Eclipse's endo baring a strong resemblance to the Mimic. (+)

The old man also uses the purple glitch, and tells the Princess to sleep. Like Dark Eclipse, who, like normal Eclipse uses the purple glitch and tells BB "goodnight". (+)
