In Patton Oswalt's "Annihilation", he quoted his deceased wife and said "It's chaos. Be kind". I fail at the second part all the time. Often I don't even try. But it's the only consistent truth I've found. Definitely the only ideal I really understand.

These are my messy October 7th thoughts. Nothing much to them. More than any other time in my life I remember, it's been chaos. We need kindness. I hope that for my part, I get better at giving it.
