That’s an incredibly good point. I’d never looked at it that way. Explains why my passion is the 80’s and early 90’s, even though I’ve not stopped collecting since the early 90’s.

Golden Age seems extremely niche here in the UK. In all my years going to comic conventions you rarely see it. Not that cons even have much in the way of any comics these days, it’s all Funko Pops.

Very cool. My superman collection starts in 1986 after Crisis, and I own absolutely everything that was officially released to date. My wallet won’t let me hit the Golden Age 😂

That’s still true to this day. Comic reprints in the UK often do their own thing when it comes to numbering. I’m purely a US collector unless there’s original Superman stories printed in UK issues, which thankfully has never been the case.

It’s not, but takes inspiration from all those classic side scrolling beat-em-ups. If you those then definitely give this a go.

Funnily enough I was playing Goodboy just last night. It’s great! What controller are you using? I’ve mapped a wireless Sega Saturn pad to the VS and it’s working brilliantly.

I couldn’t agree more. It’s so nice to pick up and play things without the baggage of lengthy cut scenes and 100 hours of gameplay. It totally reminds me of why I got into games in the first place.
