That's too much work. I've elected to leave my Twitter account active and just pin a tweet letting everyone know I'm not there anymore, directing them here, and be done with it. Especially since my old videos THEMSELVES have the Twitter handle baked into them. :P

Probably a good idea some deactivating your account means someone can poach the username. That said i think most of us are abandoning the place anyway and don’t care. I’m only looking recently to catch up on the people who haven’t yet and see the announcement when they do.
