The only reason I have a printer in my work-office is b/c as director of undergraduate studies, I sometimes need to print sensitive info. The previous person in this role took the printer to their office, and the staff went to get it to make a point - the printer goes with this service role.
I work in IT and we usually only approved office printers if printing sensitive info is a job requirement. Rec letters would likely not meet the standard
My husband doesn't even know how to print on his departmental device (or make copies) which means we print *all* copies of all of his exams at home. Which drives me bananas.
I hadn’t even thought of that.
