Which is more amazing: the fact that America has vastly outperformed other advanced economies without higher inflation, or the fact that Biden gets no credit?
"Republicans are better for the economy" I know this is true because Republicans have been saying it for my entire life!
well look at that. giving money to average people works better than giving it all to banks and such. average people with $1,400 stimulate the economy because they never issued any stock to buy back instead.
Neither: it's that Americans still can't tell their economy is stronger than other nations, because the wealth gained disproportionately benefits a small number of people while everyone else suffered from crazy inflation.
It's always cynical imo If Trump wins, he'll immediately take credit for the economy, ignoring all data and the media will mostly repeat the lie If Harris wins, people will say Biden made the economy good, and the moment it crashes Harris will be blamed
I generally like you, Paul, but every time you make this argument... you kind of leave out all mention of a tiny event that happened in Europe at the point where those two lines diverge.
Or that any of that success has trickled-down to the average American?
Are there any organizations you can think of that are especially grotesque in terms of withholding this credit? And -- just curious speculation here -- would you ever work for such an organization?
It’s really not that hard to understand: the graph on the right shows prices have gone up 20% higher than they were before he was president.
Pres. Biden will be remembered better than he is known.
That's one of the Iron Laws of Journalism - Dem Presidents don't get credit for good economic news. I don't make the rules.
