Always has been. Glenn came in my mentions on the old site to chastise me for saying that Paul Ryan wanted to gut Social Security. Back when Paul was a VP candidate. I shoulda screenshot it bc he deleted the tweet. Never trusted him since. "Saying Ryan wanted to gut SS was my Lie of the Year!"
Violent crime rates really have stayed fairly flat over the last decade, dropping ~3% from 2013-2023. While they fell 15.2% from Q1 2023 to Q1 2024, it seems unfair to cherry-pick that data vs. longer-term trends. Maybe Muir referenced quarterly data Glenn Kessler didn't know he was using. 🤷

some of what he does is being selectively pedantic for partisan points, but there are examples where he just flat out prints a lie in the newspaper and sometimes they issue a small correction at the bottom when he gets caught
