It's why I always go to check anything they got linked in their description or account or what they've posted. What annoys me most is that, what if one day a legitimate artist comes into my DM's?

I get that feeling. Honestly, though, at the end of the day, doing a good background check to see if they got profiles and legit art on other sites is what I find to be one of the better ways to see if their legit. If they lack any of that, more than likely they're a scammer.
