Izumi is one of a special group of magicians. They were referred to as Sorceresses at one point, but upon further research were renamed to "Spiritbearers", as each Bearer (all women) would bond with a Spirit at birth, and part with them after death. Izumi's is the "Spirit of the Sea". #ocfanart
