One thing I’ve noticed is the accuracy and specificity of things in his work. The airliner in the first is a Lockheed L-1011. The locomotive is either a GE or an EMD hood unit The airliner I. The second is a Douglas DC-10. And, of course, T-Rex in a F-14.
When I was four years old, my best friend and I played a game called "Too Many Pets On the...". Depending on whose house - we were only two doors apart - we'd bring every stuffed animal into the LR and turn the couch into a sinking boat/burning plane.
This one came out on my birthday some 30 years ago and my wife color photocopied it and framed it for me. It's still on the wall in my office.
