Hours later, my paper is submitted. But in between I was ready to give up being a scientist. Honestly @thePeerJ your submission system is sooo frustrating! And now I'm worried that tomorrow you will say that the paper somehow doesn't fit your journal and it was all for naught.

We got a big grant from Genentech Foundation! Among other things, it means that the PINC Summer Program which I co-founded many years ago will be funded for another 5 summers. news.sfsu.edu/news/sf-stat...

I am looking for ways to have interesting, engaging & safe meetings with 4-6 students at the same time. The students are all working on their own course project, but the projects are related and I hope they can learn from each other & from me & help each other.
