My favorites are, unfortunately, the most costly: Rapha Brevet (got a discontinued colorway on clearance - best chamois for my needs) and Ornot Cargo (with a Patreon discount code from Path Less Pedaled) - the latter of which has *the most* comfortable shoulder straps *ever*, and excellent pockets.

I’ve long suspected that even professional critics experience the same thing, ignoring or excusing defects in media they love that might otherwise ruin something else in their eyes/ears/etc. Not saying it’s *wrong*, just maybe unaware/unacknowledged.
