The point is one game plays for you more than another game but in the end the same effect is you swing your sword and the enemy is beaten. AI is literally just press button swing sword enemy beaten.

I'm saying the issue with arguing AI is lesser doesn't help the idea AI should or shouldn't be a thing. If people accept messed up hands, that's theirs to do. Now when it comes to lying about you making the art to sell, that's different. But in terms of just, enjoyment, *shrug*?

I mean, no? Dark souls you need timing, rolling, dodging, understanding wind up, animation length, weapon length. Final Fantasy you press attack, what's the enemy doing, you don't know. But sword hits, magic. Is one not easier than the other? Is FF less fun because of that?

Well that's the thing, many aI users see the final fantasy of art as.... well something they like, which is art.

On the matter of the verifying, okay. But that isn't the kind of complaints I hear about AI, many just don't like it AT ALL. If all they did was shove the artists' art into a container, it wouldn't be considered stolen. There's a REASON it's considered stolen now, that ethical AI I don't think fixes

So, I agree with you. THey were and are currently wrong for doing that. Would AI trained on free and available work, IF it was on par with AI now, be acceptable?

I mean Asset flips ARE a thing. There was a game that did that called only up. And it doesn't need to be art to the people who enjoy it I think.

Well not really sure what to say to this, mostly because in my conversations with them, they don't see it the same. They just see art as something they want to appreciate and enjoy on their own terms. It's like if art is dark souls, they just want to play final fantasy.
